I always have been using wires while my laptop has a built in Wi-Fi system. And after a few months I'd had enough and set off to buy a wireless router. I was willing to pay out for a good router, however I found I didn't need to pay that much after all for a good router.
The Belkin Wireless G Router lets you share files and a broadband internet connection among several PCs / Notebooks without using networking cables.
It can be used for accessing files such as hard drives, printers, CD-ROMs, and DVDs. The 802.11g model provides you with networking speeds nearly five times faster than the current Wi-Fi standard.
It also allows you to connect wired computers to the network, for older computers which are not compatible. Comes with the latest security features.
It allows you to use a password so only people you know can use your internet connection. All this anywhere in the 400 feet of wireless coverage.
This router works with Macintosh? and PC computers
your package should include ... the router , phone line cord, ethernet networking cable. in-line filter, power adapter, user manual cd, quick installation guide. YOU MUST HAVE A WIRELESS NETWORK INTERFACE OR ADAPTER INSTALLED ... other wise the router has nothing to pick up
Set up is easy and takes about 5 minutes =)
