The Reviews

We always take our EOS 300D whenever we go on holiday, and it really is a beautiful camera. We have the jet black version, and it feels incredibly well build and is an amazing buy at just £450 from some stores.

Now for those of you who don't understand why you'd want to buy a 7 mega pixel camera when you already have one, and it's really neat and small - the answer is because this is an SLR. SLR cameras excel so much from their hand-held rivals due to their amazing lens quality, and the 300D does not disappoint.

At just under £500, it's the gadget that a lot of people would love to use, and is great for photography wannabes. Performance wise it's amazing, and you don't get that automatic feel that you do when you take a picture with a handheld, you can adjust everything, making it feel like it's you and not the camera that is taking the pictures.

I strongly recommend hunting an SLR to get the 300D. It has been around for quite a while now, and it's price reflects it, but not many far greater models have been launched, and taking into account that the 7mp camera will take pictures of roughly 3500x2000 pixels, they're big enough for almost any non-professional occasion.

Protection or Precaution?
Norton, McAfee, AVG, Bitfinder. All these companies promise to protect your PC from any virus or hacker that may want to harm your computer. But do any of them actually work? Or is it just fleecing you of yet more money for nothing!?
