The Reviews
The PSC 1610 All-in-One printer has the ability to print, scan, & copy. The print quality is decent, sometimes good. The image quality of scans is adequate. It's paper handling is a bit of a joke. It jams frequently, and when it does print, it either shoots the page across the room or drops it right on top of the fresh unprinted paper.
This printer is really not impressive in the least, but its cheap. There have to be better products out there.
Pros: Scan & print quality acceptable, looks nice, inexpensive.
Cons: Poor paper handling, cannot fax, irritating software install process.

Agreed, a bad buy. I bought the almost identical HP 2355 in 2005 and HP 2575 in 2006. They work OK for a year, but they drink ink. The scan resolution may be 1200 dpi but the bandwidth is inadequate, giving sparkling on sharp edges at high resolution.
