The Reviews

The Gamecube, albeit a nice machine, never was well planned by Nintendo. Originally I believe it was to be called the Dolphin, or a like new, and it was only a couple of weeks before that they unveiled their new idea to the world.

Having said that the system runs smoothly, and is remarkably portable. Nintendo had these brief moments of delusion whilst making it, for example their CDs which are half the size of normal compact disks. The ultimate flaw is that the CD tray is big enough to hold a normal sized CD, and if you're thinking "Ah but you can take it around easier" - no. The CD cases were the exact replicas of the other machines. This basically made it 100% pointless to have smaller disks.

Nintendo kept to the nice touches, such with having 4 controller ports instead of 2, as unlike Sony they are clearly concerned with their customers. Nintendo have released some average games, but the best positive about this machine is it's price.

The Gamecube, much like the Wii, was always fairly priced. Furthermore it is a great gift to give any young children as it will entertain them for hours with it's games aimed at younger audiences.

If you're looking for a bit of humor and a machine that you can pick up and play at the weekends for a couple of hours get the Gamecube.

Nintendo GameCube is the console of choice for multiplayer fun. I like the wide variety of games available. The good thing is that it's tiny, nearly portable and it's less expensive than competing systems. Only sad that it doesn't support DVD nor audio CD.

Nintendo GameCube is the most affordable of the current game systems. Also the Nintendo GameCube offers great graphics and good performance.

Protection or Precaution?
Norton, McAfee, AVG, Bitfinder. All these companies promise to protect your PC from any virus or hacker that may want to harm your computer. But do any of them actually work? Or is it just fleecing you of yet more money for nothing!?
