The Reviews

Review by: Joe Moverley
Personal Rating: 6/10

It is no longer enough to have just a normal picture frame, no, we are living in the future! And Phillips have recognised that everyone needs a really expensive picture frame that runs on batteries! What? Your thinking, well actually it's quite a good idea, it allows you to play slideshows of your favourite photos straight from a memory card. So instead of having just one boring picture, this is much more dynamic.

This 7 inch frame looks very stylish with its white insert and clear surround. With a resolution of 480x232 your photos will look crisp, colourful and sharp making it a great addition to any home or business. With support for flash memory you can display all your photos on just one frame, no computer needed!

The quality of the pictures is great and you really couldn't ask for more. But the price is a big issue. Hopefully Phillips will be lowering the prices soon so that people can actually afford the picture frame! And of course this runs on batteries unless you want to plug it into the mains. So the maintenance costs are going to be higher than your average picture frame.

But this is a good product and somethign to impress visitors with. In one or two years you can guarentee these taking off and selling fast. Until then we're going to have to wait for the price to drop.

Protection or Precaution?
Norton, McAfee, AVG, Bitfinder. All these companies promise to protect your PC from any virus or hacker that may want to harm your computer. But do any of them actually work? Or is it just fleecing you of yet more money for nothing!?
