The Reviews

Review by: Ian Clark
Personal Rating: 9/10

Unlike their superb "Cruzer" USB Stick range, I wasn't quite as impressed with the e200 as I really wanted to be. Firstly the design, it's amazing, really really pretty, smooth and small - certainly not something I'd be embarrassed to be seen with.

In truth, this isn't really a bad little number, especially considering it's price. It will play videos, and it will music and photos and for under £100, that's just simply amazing. Naturally, you do get what you pay for. The e200 doesn't come with any built in software, and so files on it aren't so much arranged as they are... well just on there. It might not seem such a massive problem at the time of purchase, but really they do lack a little in this department.

Also the video function. Not saying that it's poor because it's not. The screen is fairly bright and vibrant (though not like the Creative products). In my opinion, it's simply too small to justify watching videos, and really, I cannot see anyone wanting to go through a whole flight or trip watching a whole film out of a 2 or so inch screen. I'd just stick with music.

Rather nicely, SanDisk offer disk space up to 8GB. This can simply be doubled, by inserting a Micro SD card into the slot in the e200. A really nice idea. At current however, the machine is unable to process the drive as being inserted and so it's really an unfortunate flaw.

If you're looking for a nicely functioning, cheap and what's more incredibly stylish item, I'd go for this. Nice job SanDisk.

Protection or Precaution?
Norton, McAfee, AVG, Bitfinder. All these companies promise to protect your PC from any virus or hacker that may want to harm your computer. But do any of them actually work? Or is it just fleecing you of yet more money for nothing!?
