The Reviews

Review by: Sir Richard
Personal Rating: 7/10
Date of Review: 10/07/2007

This is a usual Hi Fi system. A Tape Player, An AM/FM Radio Tuner and, of course, A CD Player. The CD Player has a cheap and tacky plastic lid opening, instead of a prefered 'sliding' CD Tray. There are 4 Controls for the CD Player: Play, Pause, Forward, Back. Also there is an EQ Button for everything, but that is only included on the remote, which I lost. Whoops. The Tape player seems to be fine, but stragely, the tapes have to be inserted open tape end down, instead of facing up. There are 3 buttons to switch between the functions. The Radio is rather nasty and picks up lots of noise and the tuning is awful, using the forward and back buttons. The Speakers that came with it are OK, but they are plugged in using a small clip which the open end of th wire is insterted into. Instead of using the default ones that come with the system, I use my Criteron, heavy duty speakers. There is a bass booster button, but that does not really provide the floor shaking frequencies I am looking for. Buy this is you like listening to classical music or like listening to tapes and definatly not if you lose things easily :P

Norton, McAfee, AVG, Bitfinder. All these companies promise to protect your PC from any virus or hacker that may want to harm your computer. But do any of them actually work? Or is it just fleecing you of yet more money for nothing!?
